Charging station for electric vehicle KS X32/3

The charging station is designed for fast charging of electric cars and has multi-level protection: overheating, unstable voltage, overcurrent, overload, short circuit, adverse weather conditions, and dust. Features: MCB (Miniature Circuit Breaker), grounding connector, monitoring of leakage current due to insulation failure, fault monitoring, IP54 protection class. Unlike the charging controllers that are plugged into a regular power outlet, the charging station allows charging electric car batteries with a higher capacity.

The charging station is equipped with a DIN EN 62196-2 Type 2 connector suitable for most electric vehicles. The 5 m long charging cable provides multiple parking options.

Only the RFID card holder can use the RFID card reader to initiate charging. Two RFID cards are included. With the RFID cards and Card Management mode, your charging station is reliably protected from unauthorized use.

The app is available for iOS and Android OS users and includes features such as remote charging enable/disable, charging status monitoring, energy demand control, and reporting of the charging station's electricity consumption. It supports 10 languages.

Könner & Söhnen® KS X series electric vehicle charging stations feature an IP54 case for outdoor use in rain and snow. The case protects the device against water splashing against the case from any angle. The 4.3” LCD screen displays relevant information, and LED lights indicate the charging status. The rugged case is made of high-grade materials, with its front panel made of tempered glass. 

The emergency stop button allows you to stop charging immediately in an emergency (e.g., fire, smoke, flooding, or other hazards).

We recommend using the KS SLC smart load controller from Könner & Söhnen® to protect the grid from overloading during peak electricity consumption hours when multiple power consumers other than the charging station are connected to the grid at the same time (optional).
